The short version

Framezone uses a few cookies that it needs to work, like keeping you signed in.
Inside the app, a few more cookies remember your layout choices.
Our own site statistics use no cookies at all.
Google Analytics cookies are set only if you click "Allow analytics".
There are no advertising cookies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as the fact that you are signed in.

Cookies we use

Name	Type	What it does
framezone-session	Strictly necessary	Keeps you signed in and protects forms (CSRF). Lasts for your session.
XSRF-TOKEN	Strictly necessary	Form security.
remember_web_*	Strictly necessary	Keeps you signed in between visits. Only set if you tick "Remember me".
sidebar_collapsed, active_workspace, habits_view, tasks_view, books_view, goals_view, projects_view	Functional	Remember your layout choices inside the app.
_ga, _ga_*	Analytics	Google Analytics. Only set after you click "Allow analytics". Last up to 2 years.

Not a cookie: your cookie choice itself is saved as cookie_consent in your browser's localStorage, so we remember it next time.

Our own statistics

Framezone's own site statistics use no cookies. They also store no IP address. The privacy policy explains exactly what they record.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 runs only if you click "Allow analytics" in the cookie card. Until then, no Google Analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics 4 anonymises IP addresses by default.

Changing your choice

Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to open the cookie card again.

Allow analytics turns Google Analytics on.
Essential only turns it off and also deletes any existing _ga cookies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, you won't be able to sign in.
