Now pick three.

Take up to three tasks from Do first and Schedule and make them today's Top 3 in Framezone. They stay pinned above everything else until they're done.

Plan today in Framezone

How it works

Urgent is loud. Important is quiet.

Urgent tasks shout for attention; important ones move your life forward. The matrix makes you look at both separately, so the quiet work gets a date instead of getting pushed back again.

Questions

Good to know.

A way to sort tasks by two questions: is it urgent, and is it important? That gives four boxes: do it now, schedule it, delegate it, or drop it. It is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, who is credited with the idea that the urgent is rarely important.

Anything that moves a goal, a relationship or your health forward. If nothing bad or good happens whether you do it or not, it probably isn't important.

Most people working alone can't. Treat the delegate box as "do it quickly, batch it, or automate it" and keep it small.

Your tasks stay in this browser only, so they are here when you come back on the same device. Nothing is sent to Framezone.

The matrix sorts everything. A daily Top 3 picks the three things from "Do first" and "Schedule" that you will actually do today. They work well together.
