The Wheel of Life.
Score eight areas of your life from 1 to 10. The wheel draws itself as you go, and shows where to put your energy next.
How to use it
Ten honest minutes.
The Wheel of Life is a coaching exercise. It doesn't measure anything objectively; it shows how you feel about each area right now, which is exactly what you need to decide what to change.
- 01 Score each area by gut feeling. 10 means you wouldn't change a thing, 1 means it needs real attention.
- 02 Look at the shape, not the average. A small but round wheel rolls better than a big lopsided one.
- 03 Pick one low area and one small weekly action for it. Just one.
- 04 Come back in three months and score it again. Your scores are kept in this browser.
Questions
Good to know.
A simple self-assessment that splits life into areas, usually eight, and asks you to score how satisfied you are with each from 1 to 10. Drawn as a wheel, the low scores show where life feels bumpy.
Every three months works well: often enough to notice change, rarely enough for change to happen. Many people pair it with a quarterly review.
Pick one area, not three. Choose one small action you can repeat every week, and score the wheel again in a few months.
